Ericka Yeley, DVM
Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Ericka Yeley is originally from Sullivan, IL where she graduated from Sullivan High School as Valedictorian. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a degree in Biology. She moved to Marshall with her husband in 2000, where he operates their family farm.
After teaching high school science for several years, she decided to return to the University of Illinois to complete a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. In 2008, Dr. Yeley graduated with high honors and returned to Marshall to begin her veterinary career. In 2011, with the help and support of her family and friends, she decided to open a practice of her own.
In her practice, her professional interests include advanced dentistry, fear-free techniques, and behavior issues. She frequently pursues continuing education opportunities to stay up to date on these topics and more.
Dr. Yeley lives in rural Marshall with her husband John, their two young children, Cyrus and Avalynn, as well as several dogs, cats, and horses. Her personal interests include reading, cooking, and technology.
Ashley Blundell
Veterinary Receptionist
Hello! My name is Ashley and I started working at Farm & Family in 2023. I am originally from Martinsville where I also graduated. I currently live in Terre Haute with my husband and our 4 amazing children (Layla, LB, Landon, and Scarlett). If that doesn't say I love chaos enough, we also have Piper (a mini dachshund) and our newest addition - our cat named Bug! I am so excited to be working in the office with such a variety of different animals as I grew up on a farm! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, making memories and traveling as much as possible. I look forward to meeting everyone and their fur babies 🙂
Echo Sherwood
Veterinary Technician
Hi! My name is Echo Sherwood and I am a Veterinary Technician. I was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky (I'm sure you can tell once I start talking!) but moved to Casey, IL in 2010 with my husband, Nick, to start our family and work on the family farm. We have two kids, Drew and Audrey, along with two spunky cats, Felix and Zoe, who all keep us busy! I began working in the veterinary field right out of high school and knew I wanted to further my education as an animal "nurse" the moment I assisted with a dental cleaning! I graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor's degree of Science in Animal Health Technology in 2000 and worked as a certified technician until 2008. I enjoy spending time with my family, attending concerts, playing games and we all LOVE being outside as much as we can! I can't wait to meet y'all!
Christina Bumpus
Certified Veterinary Technician / Office Manager
Hey! My name is Christina Bumpus. I am a Certified Veterinary Technician. I am from Marshall, IL! I graduated high school in 2009 and went on to Lakeland College for Pre vet. I then transferred up to Parkland College in Champaign, IL to participate in the veterinary technician program. I graduated and became certified in 2013! I have worked at a couple different practices throughout Illinois before I settled back into Marshall.
I have a wonderful family that consists of my husband, Bryan, and our two beautiful children, Abbigail and Dean. We also have 2 cats, Primrose and Katniss!
I have an enormous love for all animals, but in my spare time, I LOVE fishing! I also love hunting; I'm just still waiting to get my first deer! I also enjoy just spending time with my kids.
I am so excited to be working at Farm and Family again!
