Peace of Mind While You're Away
Because we treat our patients like one of our own pets, we take pride in our boarding services. Our staff enjoys interacting with and caring for pets whether they are with us for just a few days or for several weeks. We do our very best to keep our boarders happy and comfortable away from home.
Dogs and cats are housed separately. Our canine boarding area is spacious and offers six 4' x 6' kennels and six longer 4' x 8' kennels. Dogs are walked and fed twice daily, and we leave the radio on for extra comfort. We have raised beds available for dogs who are not prone to chewing. You may bring your dog's own food, or we feed Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach, just like we would our own pets. You may also bring treats or toys, and even bedding if you would like; however, we cannot be responsible for damages caused by anything left in the kennel with your dog.
Cats are kept in a separate, quieter area to minimize stress. They have hammock beds to give them more cage space, and we use Feliway to help create a calming atmosphere. A radio is also kept at low volume in this area, and we provide hide boxes or blankets to kitties who need a little extra privacy for comfort.
Boarding service is available by appointment only, and spaces fill up quickly, especially during summer months and holidays. To schedule, please give us a call at 217-826-3185.
